Experienced leadership:

Special Education & Valuing All Students

All parents & guardians want their children to be seen, valued, and empowered

Billie Joe Wright grew up knowing that his grandmother was only allowed to attend schools until eighth grade due to mental health issues that were undiagnosed and not supported in her schools.

Billie Joe watched one of his heroes. his older brother, navigate the public school system with his family where he was often told what he could not do, would not be able to do, and where he belongs.

It is all of these experiences and more that has led to Billie Joe being a teacher advocate for our students with special needs, advocating for inclusion while demanding proper funding to meet the needs of the student.

This runs in Billie Joe's family, it is at the core of who they are. Billie Joe has a former student in Special Education classes working on his campaign named Frankie, some of you may have seen him present at our recent Zoom meet and greet!

Billie Joe's younger brother is a Director for an inclusion services provider, his sister works in a group home and at a local school district with students with special needs, and his niece will graduate next year from Cal Poly Pomona becoming a Special Education teacher.
