About Me (One Page)

I am a proud longtime resident of Anaheim, just south of our flagship high school. I have family that works at Anaheim High School and more family that lives in just east of AHS. I am am part of the Anaheim Union High School District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) committee and also am a member of the Anaheim Elementary School District's Measure G and J Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC). Whether it is supporting our Anaheim Halloween Parade or local events, my partner of almost two decades and I love Anaheim!

I am a high school teacher who grew up in a biracial, Spanish-speaking household with family members who faced adversities that led me to be an advocate for differently physically abled people, and for mental wellness programs. As your next AUHSD Trustee for area 1, I will value every student and family in our district as I have as a classroom teacher. I seek to listen and learn about my students so I can support their needs to achieve as a person and in academics. I am a teacher for all students and will be your AUHSD Trustee for all of our diverse students and families.
