Wright is a Known advocate
Billie Joe Wright has been an advocate fighting for public education and workers' rights since he was a young child. Whether it was fighting for his brother and others when he was in school or walking the line with his dad who was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Billie Joe took on the Orange County Board of Education and was able to get his map passed, ending the era of gerrymandered elections for the OCBE.
Billie Joe continues to work with local associations, elected officials, and community partners to ensure safe schools, fair contracts, and to expand equitable opportunities for students and staff.
Billie Joe will expand the work he is already doing by supporting each local the way they need and want to be supported to achieve their goals.
